The Mental Health Foundation recorded that 74% of the UK adults felt so stressed over the last year that they felt unable to cope. Statistics demonstrate that male site workers are 3 times more likely to commit suicide than the average male and one in four construction workers contemplate suicide, given these startling facts access to Mental Health Services are needed now more than ever.
IWC are playing an active part in ensuring the wellbeing of our workforce and recognising the impact it has on us within the construction industry.
IWC recycled our used mobile phones and the money raised was donated to Mind, a charity chosen by our employees. Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing mental health problems. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness, and promote understanding.
