We employ the best people in order to provide a quality, flexible and non-contractual service to our Clients. A conscientious office team supported by over 100 highly skilled sub-contract carpenters and 15 supervised apprentices. Our success is attributed to the skills, knowledge, integrity and commitment of our staff.

 
 
 

Ian is a time served carpenter with over 35 years experience. He established IWC in 1989 and has successfully directed and developed the growth of the company since. His passion lies in offering clients maximum value and encourages his team to always put the customer first, ensuring completion of contracts on time, with client satisfaction top priority.

Dave has managed site contracts with IWC for over 16 years. He has a broad, all round knowledge of construction and possesses excellent abilities both practically and theoretically. His relationships and motivational skills mean he is the ideal person to manage our Apprentice workforce. A pillar of knowledge always great to have on your team at quiz nights.

Glenn is a qualified carpenter with a wealth of experience across the construction industry. Having worked for over 30 years managing his own business he has successfully completed over 400 construction projects.

Looking for a new challenge Glenn joins our busy production team as Contracts Manager, with an accommodating and pleasant personality Glenn has the ability to motivate and lead a team, delivering excellence on all projects

Glenn is an avid football and rugby fan and a keen sportsman, having played rugby in his younger days.

A Qualified Carpenter with 14+ years of knowledge and experience in the field of construction, working on sites throughout the United Kingdom. Jack is a qualified SSSTS, having worked in the capacity of supervisor for 4 years and has been involved with countless award winning sites along the way.

Jack joined IWC in 2021 and has worked on many high value projects, quickly demonstrating his commitment skills and attitude to progress through the ranks at IWC. A keen sports fan, with a passion for Golf and Football makes Jack the perfect “team player” to have in your company.

Andrew has been with the company since 2010 and has managed some of our most prestigious high value projects. Working in partnership with Main Contractors such as Vinci, Bouygues and Willmott Dixon on projects including, The University of the West of England Bristol (UWE), Froomsgate House and Oxstalls Business School across varied sectors such as Health and Education.

Dean has worked for IWC since commencing his Apprenticeship in 2001. Before he became a Site Supervisor he worked on Housing & Commercial Projects such as St David’s 2 Apartment Blocks, Prospect Place in Cardiff Bay and Gloucester Royal Infirmary Car Park. During the past 5 years as Site Supervisor, he has worked on many prestigious projects including The Archbishop McGrath School in Bridgend, Glangwili Hospital Clinical Decision Unit in Carmarthen, Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton, The Performing Art’s College in Somerset & Morriston Hospital in Swansea.

Commercial Team

Chris joined IWC over 15 years ago and heads up our busy commercial department both leading and mentoring a team of highly skilled Quantity Surveyors. As Commercial Director, not only does Chris develop and nurture existing client relationships but is instrumental in developing new business partnerships.

Responsible for the Tendering process and financial management of all projects, up to finalisation of accounts. Chris is analytical and his excellent negotiating skills ensures the best value for project.

Callum recently joined the team, bringing with him a young perspective and a solid academic foundation in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management, having graduated with honours from USW. Callum's enthusiasm for learning and professional growth will ensure his success in the construction industry. He is keen to apply his theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios, demonstrating a proactive attitude and a strong work ethic. Outside of his professional interests, Callum is passionate about sports, which reflects his team-oriented mindset and dedication to continuous improvement. His commitment to both personal and professional development makes him a valuable addition to our team

Sam graduated with an Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying in 1992, employed first with a Main Contractor for 10 years and subsequently working for carpentry sub-contractors since 2005.

Sam has been with IWC for 8 years and possesses a strong talent and experience in construction. As Senior Surveyor Sam brings a wealth of commercial knowledge and has a track record in managing all costs relating from tender to final account stage.

Carron rejoins our busy surveying team as surveying admin, Carron possess a wealth of surveying experience having worked in the field of construction for over 13 years. Keeping our busy commercial department streamlined and establishing an excellent relationship with our Supply Chain.

Proud of her Scottish roots she adds that vibrant personality to the team especially on a match day!

Dean commenced work with IWC in March 2024 and has worked as a Quantity Surveyor for private housebuilders, main contractors and sub-contractors since 2007. During this period he has gained a vast wealth of experience of commercial management and cost control, working on numerous prestigious multi-million pound projects, taking them from the tender stages right through to final account. Dean has a keen interest in modern methods of construction and prides himself on the valuable relationships he has built within the industry throughout his career.

Dean also has an Open University Honours Degree in History & Economics. A proud father of 3, outside of work you can find Dean either in the gym or in his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class.

Bridie has worked within IWC for over 12 years. As our Finance and Operations Director, Bridie is responsible for the company’s finances & payroll, administration, processes, and internal controls in support of the organisation's mission.

Annemarie is our Quality & Environmental Manager, possessing a string of certifications, including, Associate member of IEMA, FIR Ambassador, and Go Construct STEM Ambassador.

Responsible for the companies Social Value goals managing, implementing, and coordinating employment skill plans to meet framework and customer requirements, with the emphasis on well-being, inclusion, equality, employment, and environment.

Always looking to drive the company forward with new ventures and possessing a dry sense of humour and with an adept ability to lead a dynamic administration & production team.

Ellie has worked within IWC for over 5 years, possessing a friendly personality and popular with our staff and clients, making Ellie the perfect choice for our customer focused services. Ellie is our in house point of contact for Health & Safety and O&M manuals bridging the gap between site and head office. Ellie maybe your first point of contact with IWC and offers an exceptional service through the medium of Welsh and English as a bilingual speaker.
