Helping Others & Helping The World

IWC annually supports charities that are helping others and that are helping the world. As part of our commitment pledge this year we choose as a company two charities that we would like to support. Our choices were FareShare and Surfers Against Sewage.

FareShare

FareShare is the UK’s network of Charitable food redistributors, distributing good quality food from across the food industry to over 10,500 frontline charities and community groups. Every week they provide enough food to create almost a million meals for vulnerable people, including school breakfast clubs, older peoples lunch clubs, homeless shelters, and community cafes. Surfers Against Sewage

Surfers Against Sewage is a national marine conservation and campaigning charity, inspiring, uniting, and empowering communities to take action to protect our oceans, waves, beaches, and wildlife. Fighting to protect our environment, making it clean and safe for everyone. Working tirelessly on climate change, water quality, coastal development, and the current issue of plastic pollution in our oceans. Ecologi

We have offset 175 tonnes of Carbon through Ecologi.

We have also contributed to a wind power project in Mexico and the first ever wind power project in Honduras, this project has provided clean water to 2,000 local people.
