Creating Social Value Through Hands-On Learning
We supported Glyncoch primary school children aged 6–10 through a range of practical, hands-on activities designed to develop new skills and encourage creativity. The children created pencil holders for their classrooms by cutting out holes and took part in pairing and labelling carpentry tools and equipment.
These activities provided valuable opportunities for the children to develop practical skills, build confidence, explore carpentry and learn through engaging, interactive experiences.
By working with local schools and supporting early skills development, we helped create a positive learning environment and contribute to social value within the community. Massive thanks to Willmott Dixon for inviting us along to be part of a great initiative.
It’s always a pleasure to be actively involved in initiatives that inspire young people, support learning and make a positive difference in our local communities.
