Helping Hands
IWC are always looking at ways to help charities and causes close to our hearts. From Charity Balls to continuously striving to become a paper free office. See some of the ways we are helping below.
Charity Balls
IWC have organised a number of Charity Events for organisations such as Latch, Teenage Cancer, British Heart Foundation and Leeds Congenital Heart Unit. With famous guest speakers, live music to get you dancing, great auction prizes, a three-course meal and group games, it truly is a fantastic event. We will continue to arrange entertaining balls that bring people together whilst supporting these incredible causes.
Company Activity Days
Raising funds for charity, clubs and other non-profit organisations. With successful planning and a target in mind we get involved in a number of activities to raise money annually. From bake sales to muddy races to golf days, the IWC team are always trying to find new ways to help.
Our Planet
IWC are committed to protecting our environment and the future of our Planet. Just a few of the ways in which we do this are: consciously sourcing of sustainable materials including FSC & PEFC Timber, reusing and recycling of ‘waste’ materials. Our environmentally friendly initiatives include: continuously striving to develop a paper free office, promoting use of reusable bottles and encouraging our employees to turn single use plastic bottles into Ecobricks.
Community Involvement
IWC are eager to help and support communities, over the past few years we have actively been involved in supporting communities through volunteer education days, donation of materials for local schools and businesses and being on hand to our Contractors for assistance with Charity projects.
Going The Extra Mile
IWC are very conscious about making a difference by supporting charities and communities. Some of our hiking experiences include:
10 Day Great Wall of China Trek - Our Director, Loredana Williams hiked to raise £22,000 for Breast Cancer Care.
Trek Petra - November 2022, 6 friends hiked to raise £6,800 for Young Minds, a children’s Mental Health Charity.
